Photons to Photos – For those who like to probe the technical side of photography, this site provides a plethora of articles and test data on myriad photography subjects.
PhotoPills – Although the primary purpose of this site appears to be promotion of their cell phone app, it includes many useful on-line photography calculators and articles. I initially stumbled upon their very useful macro DOF and diffraction calculators, and suspect that the portable app may be a useful field aid as well.

Cambridge In Color – “A Learning Community for Photographers” Lots of valuable technical articles and tutorials covering all aspects of photography from exposure to printing including definitions, color management, techniques and forums
The Digital Picture – An excellent source of independent, objective reviews of cameras and lenses offering detailed test data and comparison tools.
